I'm 63 since my teens when I read the American Way of Death, I realized what an abomination the whole funeral process is. That was years before I knew anything about the environmental impact, which just reinforces my beliefs. You have no idea how relieved I was when I first caught part of a bit on t.v. about natural burial. It is ironic that the first one is in S.C. as that is where my 92 year old mother lives. Would love to have this posted and to get more info. Thanks for being there and doing what you do, hopefully more and more people will start to realize the absolute neccessity.

ype your comment here.
My son was cremated and the funeral home required embalming since there was visitation. His remains are still at the mortuary and there are so many laws preventing scattering the ashes. Would a green cemetery allow disposition of his ashes?

I enjoyed reading all about this, as I want to be cremated when it is time for me to leave. My family is aware of this also. It was very interesting and informative information and I wish it were being done more in the USA. Thank you for for information.
