Actually, you are missing a most important point. The main part of a funeral isn't about the casket. It's about the person in the casket. It's about reflecting on the life that was lived, what that life meant to you, how it impacted who you are, how your own life impacts others. Remember "For Whom the Bell Tolls". At Life Story Funeral Homes we focus on the story of the life that was lived, on preserving the story and the memories that go with it. Does it really matter whether you were buried or cremated? It does to the funeral business. But when you come down to the real bottom line what matters is the life not the death. Think about it. We did. And it has changed the way our funeral homes do business. check out www.lifestorynet.com when you get a chance.

Hello, I just found your web-site, and it is soooo strange, I am just starting to go to school, so I can become a mortician, open a green funeral home, cemerty, and I have wanted for years to build a book case that could double as a casket, everyone thinks I am so weird. (* which I may be, but who cares) so when I found this site, and read your articial, I was so surprised and very happy that their are others in large numbers that also are worried about the cemetery / funeral process. thanks ! for all your hard work guys/ gals. !!
