I've been saying this for years. But $3,000? Really? Give my family some shovels, and they'll dig my hole for free!

I love the idea of letting nature do what it is intended to do without man getting in the way. It's going to happen no matter what is done so why prolong it? If I can do something after death to make the world more beautiful, then I'm all for it. I wish I lived closer to Huntsville.

Is there a green burial alternative in Texas for someone who does not wish their death to subsidize a church?

I think this is a GREAT alternative but wish there were more green burial places. I learned today from my wife that a local funeral home would charge $2,400 for a cremation; this is outrages. I would consider this alternative but dont care to have to join a particular church to be buried there. Thank you for providing an alternative.
