I am arranging for the disposal of my body in my will. it is frustrating to be told that there are no cemetaries that permit natural burials. In Tennessee I am told, embalming is not required, but cemetaries still require concrete vaults, no matter. I would like to be buried in my family cemetary, but it looks like i will have to be buried out of state.

the natural burial is not something new to me coz in my culture the funeral is very environnmental friendly. we practice an immediate burial. embalming and cremating are forbidden because it causes pain and disrespect to the body. we dont use coffin to bury the body. the body is wrapped in white shroud and buried. it is very simple, modest, cheap and enviromental friendly burial.

Thank you for offering this option for natural burial. This is my desire and wish at the time of my death. I am looking for information to give to my family to help them better understand my feelings.

Sincerely, Donna
