I have never been fond of funerals from beginning to end (especially the end) so when in the past year I had to find a place for a friend. I looked for a green place, and found one in Washington, what a wonderful decision it was to put him there, I swear the angels sang when we carried him home, now I am planning to follow, it has what I like, trees running water and sunshine.

Hi Pam,

Been reading your page and its great stuff. I am a celebrant and with other like minded people such as your self are trying to get a natural burial society off the ground here in Perth Western Australia. Whilst not an entirely new concept as a lot of ground work has been done here already, we here in Perth do not have such a burial ground. We undoubtly are about to go into bat with the present mind set and that is going to be intresting to put it politley! So any advice you can give us we would be greatly appreciated

Kind Regards
