Take on a leadership role with the Natural Burial Co-operative.

- The Natural Burial Co-operative is seeking representatives across Canada, on a part-time or casual basis.
The Role
There are two main aspects to the role: (1) raise awareness and promote natural burial in your community (2) help organise local initiatives to establish natural burial grounds in your area.
The level of time you contribute is up to you. You could simply act as a local representative of the Natural Burial Co-op or you could spend several hours each week developing a network of individuals, landowners and community resources interested in establishing a local burial ground.
Basic Requirements
- Strong belief in the values of natural burial
- Excellent communication skills, good judgement
- Desire and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Benefits
We are not able to pay salary, but there are other benefits. First, this is an excellent way to take an active role in the development of natural burial in your area. If you choose to do any in-person networking, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people and develop a circle of peers to help you realise this vision. If there are skills you’d like to develop, we can provide some training and mentoring. And of course, if you stick around for a while, The Natural Burial Co-operative could serve as an excellent reference.
